AIScored exists to help UK consumers compare supplements using transparent, aggregated data from real customer reviews. This editorial policy explains how we generate content, maintain independence, and ensure transparency about our limitations and business model.
1. How Scores Are Generated
Product scores on AIScored are generated using our proprietary analysis methodology. We collect publicly available customer reviews from major retailers including Amazon UK and Holland & Barrett, then analyse these aggregated reviews to generate a summary score and key insights for each product. Our methodology evaluates factors including overall satisfaction, reported effectiveness, value for money, and common concerns mentioned across reviews.
Product summaries are generated using our proprietary analysis methodology and reviewed for quality by our editorial team. While we strive for accuracy, summaries may occasionally contain errors or misinterpretations. The number and quality of available reviews varies significantly by product—some products have hundreds of reviews while others may have only a handful, which affects score reliability.
2. Independence and No Paid Placements
AIScored is run by a single individual (sole proprietor) with no investors, corporate ownership, or external stakeholders. We do not accept paid placements, sponsored reviews, promotional content, or any form of payment from manufacturers or retailers to influence product scores or placement. We do not sell premium positioning or featured listings.
Our product selection for review is based on customer demand, market availability in UK retailers, and data availability—not on which products offer the highest affiliate commission. If a high-commission product has weak review data, it will not receive an artificially inflated score.
3. Affiliate Revenue and Affiliate Links
AIScored earns revenue exclusively through affiliate commissions when users click our links and purchase from partners including Amazon Associates UK (tag: aiscored-21), Awin, and other UK retailers. This is our only source of income and allows us to operate. Affiliate commissions do not influence which products we review, how we score them, or the content we publish.
Affiliate links are marked throughout the site. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We do not track individual purchases or collect personal shopping data.
4. Limitations and Transparency
We are transparent about our limitations. Automated analysis of reviews has inherent limitations: it can misinterpret context, miss nuance, or miss recent product changes. Review counts vary by product—some have over 500 reviews while others may have fewer than 50. Newer products or niche supplements may have limited review data, making scores less reliable. Seasonal products may have review data that is outdated during different times of year.
Summaries are generated at a point in time and reflect review data available then. They do not automatically update when new reviews are published or when products change (formula updates, reformulations, safety recalls). Product prices shown are indicative and may change frequently—always verify current pricing and availability with the retailer.
5. Content Standards and Accuracy
We aim to generate summaries that accurately reflect the reviews analysed. However, we do not guarantee accuracy. We do not knowingly publish fabricated reviews, fake quotes, or misleading claims. All source reviews are from real customer reviews published by major retailers.
